Keyword Mapping & Research
Research and mapping of the full keyword universe relevant to your site. Understand what people search for, the intent behind each query, and which pages should target each one.
How it works
Keyword Mapping is the foundation beneath everything else in SEO. Without it, you are optimising pages for terms people do not use, creating content that targets the wrong intent, and pointing links at pages that will never rank. We see this problem on the majority of sites we audit: they have done content and SEO work without a coherent keyword strategy, which means the work is scattered rather than compounding. The Keyword Mapping service starts with a comprehensive keyword discovery phase, pulling from search volume data, competitor analysis, Search Console impressions data, and our knowledge of your sector. We then classify every relevant term by search intent: informational, navigational, commercial, transactional. This matters because different intent types require different page types and different content approaches. A transactional query needs a product or service page. An informational query needs a guide or article. A commercial investigation query needs comparison or review content. Mapping the wrong intent is one of the most common causes of SEO underperformance. Once every relevant term is classified, we map them to either existing pages on your site or new pages that need to be created. This mapping document becomes the master reference for all subsequent SEO work: it tells you which page should rank for which query, and ensures you are not creating internal competition where multiple pages target the same terms. The deliverable is a complete keyword universe with intent classification, volume data, difficulty estimates, and a page-to-keyword mapping document that can guide content creation, on-page optimisation, and internal linking decisions for the next twelve months.
